Books by Subject

My very favorite bookclub selected a subject and we each read a book that fit into it. For example, woman author or book that was made into a movie, memoir, etc. Then at the bookclub we got to learn about so many different books. It was so great maybe partly because we were all expats in Berlin so from all over. But

I'm in a bookclub now where we all read the same book and it's fun to get together but the book chats aren't nearly as fun as they were when we all read a different book.
