A hippie grocery coop with a sweet front lawn in Carrboro. An absolute institution. We came here for lunch during the Rec League North Carolina offsite and the vibes were perfect.

Best people watching ever. When I moved to NC after two years of barely surviving NYC, I didn’t know anyone at all and literally worked half the day at Elmo’s and half the day at Weaver Street. I met Eric Hodge because he was a bagger 😆 had no idea he was on public radio until much later! Weaver Street (and Carrboro) will always feel slightly magical to me.
