Crushing bits of chalk into pigment so you can create chalk paint

Just add water. Less water = more vibrant. More water = like watercolor.

We have an abundance of chalk shards that we crush (I use a mallet, my kids use a wooden hammer designed for children) into a fine powder. Cupcake tins make great palettes.
