Lawn Care Tools for Newbies

If you’re someone who loves the idea of tackling their suburban yard work but gets caught up in all the mental obstructions keeping you from actually becoming that idyllic “Martha Stewart if she were a Lowe’s girly”. Let me put you on.

Battery Powered 👏 Carbon Fiber 👏 Lawn Tools.

Aka: no dealing with fussy 100 ft power cables & carbon fiber = lightweight for my little arms. Bonus: The EGO brand lineup is rated high on Consumer Reports. I’m slowly changing all my old electric or gas powered lawn tools once they die over to EGO. They all use the same batteries/charger so it’s super simple. No man needed :)

They have a ton of tools. This weed-eater is the only EGO tool I have right now. I went to Lowe’s and held all the options and this carbon-fiber version was by far the only one I could manage to hold.

I’ve got my eye on the self-propelled lawn mower and leaf blower next! (They have some non-carbon fiber lawn tools, so if that’s a feature you want, just make sure you’re buying the right one). Happy yard working!!
