Fav things to do when its oppressively hot and humid outside? Like too hot to lay by a pool… Can be productive or not at all, but bonus points for finding the silver lining snd some purpose for it. And yes I do live in the American South.

taking a siesta: i'm from the us, but live in germany, where most people/places don't have AC. when it gets insanely hot here or in other parts of europe without even fans, there's always a certain time of the day where i simply shut down and can't do anything. it could feel like wasted time, but i've opted for acceptance, meaning i know on those super hot days i'll be out and about for a certain period of time (say, 7 am to 1 pm) and then will allow myself as many hours as i need to rest and cool down before i'm ready to go back out into the world ... and before the world has cooled down enough for me to want to go back into it! (5/6/7 pm)
