Waist Deep: A Novel (Maja Ernst)

I spent a lazy half hour in Barnes and Noble on my way to pick up my dry cleaning and came out with this. At times tiresome, sometimes sexy — but I was most moved by being in a friendgroup where you're all performing for one another. There's a great scene in the first act where making breakfast becomes a whole production. Glad I read it, but some characters felt too obvious and thin.
