Ascenseur pour l’echafaud sound track

Ross Chait

“Loosely composed and performed in the wee hours of a cold December night, this gem evokes just that. I don’t need to say anything about Miles that you don’t already (or should already) know, but it is really amazing how much of his flavor is so unmistakably served all over this film, and that it works so effectively albeit effortlessly. No need for a theme, or even a motif. 100% pure vibe. I feel”

“Miles Davis did the soundtrack for a French film and it's fantastic.”
