Anzio, Italy

A small town in Italy that I chose for my vacation this year and wasn't disappointed one bit. If you want a calm beach vacation then I recommend this place.

+: very warm sea (I was in the end of august- beginning of september) it was around 28°C.

Not a lot of people, only locals. So its very quiet and tranquil.

Sunsets are gorgeous! The sun sets into the sea so it looks magical.

The beach is equipped with toilets and a shower. Beach bars are open every day and are pretty affordable.

-: almost noone speaks english there, so keep your translator ready.

The sea was almost always stormy, so if you dont like jumping in the waves this place is not for you.

Sometimes it smells a bit on the beach. Like dead fish or sulfur or seaweed.

The town is pretty small so there are not a lot of restaurants and shops.

p.s.: I wasn't aware before I visited this town that they have a siesta. Almost all shops and restaurants are closed from 13:00 to 16:00.
