my husband found this in a thrift store and thought it looked interesting, and we watched it last night. film crews in Washington DC and Alabama follow the unfolding of George Wallace's refusal to integrate the University of Alabama in 1963. it's less than an hour long, absolutely fascinating, and at once inspiring and heartbreaking given what happened to the Kennedy brothers and [gestures to everything] where we've ended up.
