Carve your own wood spoons

Who knew carving spoons is a thing. Give it a try, it’s very therapeutic and when you’re done you get an object you can enjoy for a very long time. Start with bass wood as it is easy to carve and work your way to harder wood when you’re ready. You’ll need a couple carving knives to get started, a straight and a hook carving knife. I can post examples of these knives if there’s interest. These are a few that I have made. The woods are paduk and cocobolo.
