This is from IKEA and I actually don't like it when I see it with the cork cover. Throw the cover away. I first saw the pitcher in a NYT food story years ago, and went down a rabbit hole to find it. I was surprised (and happy!) that it was IKEA instead of some $$$$ brand.

Agree to throw the cork away. Ours molded after a few months!

And for those averse to discard stuff, maybe try slicing into 2 or 3 circles and use as a heat trivet?
