Crossing Delancey (1988)

More a vibe (lots of amazing sweaters) than an explicit fall theme, but this is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's a cozy, deeply New York rom com that i crave watching the second the weather snaps and the city regains some of the magic it lost in the summer

“A romcom set in the Lower East Side of the 80s. Amy Irving plays an ambitious book store employee, close with her Bubby, who lives in the old neighborhood. Our heroine sees herself as more of an uptown girl, but the local matchmaker has different ideas.”
