ISO the perfect raincoat. I’m sorry to say I am so picky when it comes to rain coats. It must be waterproof, not water resistant. It must have some sort of venting at the armpits. It must not make me sweat when I wear it. It must not be “sporty.” It must cover my butt. It must be less than $250. It must have a hood, ideally one that is removable. Trying to decide if I can be flexible on that last point. Help!
They focus on rain gear and have great timeless jackets. I’ve had mine for years and it’s like new. I find it breathable, but my partner has a newer version that is supposedly designed to be even more breathable.
