The Safekeep

Just thinking about this book makes me want to go back and read it again. Sometimes a story creeps up on you slowly, thoughtfully, carefully, and then proceeds to crush you and break your heart. And you’re grateful for it. This is one of those.

I’ve read (and forgotten) a lot of books in the past few years, but this one SHOOK me in a way I cannot explain. Don’t look up any synopsis or background info, just dive in blind and be patient. I swear the payoff goes crazy.
