Beau Travail (1999)

Steven Weill

“An insanely cathartic ending to an otherwise cold and stoic film, where our lead is finally given the opportunity to fully express himself. You can feel the leaden weight of every single movement in this scene. This is poetry in the form of a film and the massive exclamation point at the end could only be accompanied by one song and one song only.”
