Favorite spots in Latvia or Lithuania? I have ten days, a decent background in Baltic history, and absolutely zero specific plans for an upcoming October trip. Would love any and all suggestions! Bookstores, hotels, hostels, veg/pescatarian restaurants, bike trails, museums, markets, architectural treasures, music shops, cafes...

Solid wood, well designed dining chairs sub 200€/$200? Our vintage Thonet, while much loved, are failing at their one job of not collapsing while in use, and I think we might need to add some well-made modern ones into rotation. I only ever really buy furniture at the thrift/antique store, so I'm not sure where to start looking for new furniture.

Authors to fill the Pratchett void? Genre agnostic, would love suggestions.
