Hang-dry (most of) your clothes

I started doing this when I studied abroad in Europe during college, out of necessity. Over a decade later, I still have many of the same delicate cotton tees from back then going strong. (I darn holes as soon as I notice them, for what it’s worth.) I don’t do it for everything - just shirts, socks, leggings, and synthetic materials. I still machine-dry towels, sheets, jeans (controversially), and chinos/slacks, because I find those often are too thick to fully air-dry and things can get musty if they take too long.

You smell good.
DedCool Laundry Detergent

It’s not exactly a hack, but this stuff smells SO good. If you like your laundry to smell clean but not chemically-clean, this one smells exactly like the DedCool fragrance of your choice (I like mochi milk).
