My mom used to laminate everything and it felt extra special. I got one of these and laminate all the things now. I take a page from her former preschool teachers and laminate pieces of art and use them as a placemat/ splash pad for the inevitable soup that gets spilled.

get yourself a basic laminator and become the most important member of your community group (for hanging up signage outdoors!), become a toy creator (we have made stuffed-animal passports, fake money, etc. for play with this thing), and print/laminate your most used online recipes or things that need to live on your fridge (e.g., kids' schedules).
