Like most people, I adore David Sedaris’ writing. He makes me literally laugh-out-loud every other sentence. I think if anyone is having a rough patch or a bad day, picking up one of his books can really turn it around. Yesterday was one of those days so I started reading this and the instant chuckling shifted my mood tremendously.

Just finished it. So good! It made me LOL so many times. Melancholic at times though unlike his other books.

Definitely and even more sentimental than I feel I’ve seen! I met him at a book signing and he’s exactly how he seems in his books 😂

I thoroughly enjoyed Calypso which was my first one. Me Talk Pretty Day is the one most people start with but Calypso is a fun summer book of essays. Also When You’re Engulfed in Flames and Holidays on Ice (during the holiday season)!
