i don’t even know how i ended up with this book but every couple years i remember how good it was. it’s a satirical italian murder mystery but feels like a true slice of life story in a small tight knit neighborhood. the book tackles prejudice and xenophobia in a way that never feels heavy handed or makes it any less fun of a read. it’s funny and intimate and just the right amount of strange
