If you’re not scared of heights there are some lovely rooftops with great cocktails. Cindy’s is my favorite but the London House is also nice, also The Up Room in Wicker Park.
If you prefer the ground hopping, around different places on the Chicago river walk is fun.
Notable restaurants: Bavettes, Big Star Tacos, Lou Malnatti’s pizza, The Publican
