Hum (Helen Phillips)

Oh I loved this book and thought it was so tender. The turn of compassion towards the Hum at the end was really vital. I especially think about the moment when the Hum said, “we are all villains. The system only gives us villianous options.” (reposting, my phone was glitchy)
