Plan ahead to let your guests help

I am a veteran Thanksgiving hoster (over a decade of hosting 13 in my home for the holiday week)and it took me a long time to plan ahead well enough to allow other people to do stuff. They want to help, and the chaos of multiple people preparing a meal together is part of what makes the holiday and the hosting joyful. So plan ahead, and hold it all loosely, and when people ask how they can help or what they can contribute have an answer for them.
