Sōsuke & Ponyo – (2008, Miyazaki) ramen scene

Ponyo is a favorite for sure! Such cozy visuals. As an artist, I appreciate all the details in the animation and it’s just a cute watch overall!

The ramen scene is adorable!! the score to accompany this scene is unreal. Lisa makes instant ramen with ham and egg, and Ponyo is in love. It’s not just noodles — it’s her first real human comfort moment in a warm kitchen during the storm outside.
