dallowaying

Sam

“Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself! The purest pleasure in running errands and gathering all of your little things — picking up a library hold, getting provisions for the annual pot pie dinner, dropping a care package at the post office and choosing new stamps? you’re dallowaying! Dallowaying is anything as long as you’re lifted by the journey.”

Treemiele

“Dallowaying is the mise en scene of gathering versus the chore of errand running. Choosing this mindset for so many more tasks.”

Angie

“Love this, and love analyzing the notion in the context of the novel. ;)”
