The very best boarding school fall shoe. This brings me literally smack dab into the middle of walking across campus in my uniform kilt, navy wool tights, huddled in my cashmere cable-knit because for some ungodly reason none of us wore jackets... ever?! Except off campus? In my mind's eye leaves are changing, I'm carrying an ancient book (Postern of Fate by Agatha Christie, probably), with my boat and tote stuffed with school books and my knitting. I'm heading to chapel for morning meeting after a rushed breakfast in our soaring dining hall, voices echoing in the stone room.
