Saving Miss Oliver's

I first read this book in 2008 when Oldfields, a nearby school, was about to close due to similar circumstances. It’s a beautifully written, nuanced novel, and the sequels are equally good. The spark of an all-girls’ education is on full display in this novel--it takes me right back.
