Trout & Salmon Magazine October 2026

My first piece in print is published in the October issue of Trout & Salmon. A reflection on the year I spent reading about catching trout, Gierach mostly, with @David Coggins for company and Mike Weaver for the Dart itself, and what I actually found on Dartmoor when I finally did it.

A huge thanks to the editor, Pete Tyjas, who encouraged me to write it off the back of an Instagram post about the trip. That encouragement propelled me to write more, and to start the Headwater Fly Fishing Substack.

As a lover of print, it is particularly special to feel the weight of it.
