I make a detailed guide for movies, tv shows, events, places, bars, restaurants and more that fit the vibe of the month so I can squeeze all the goodness out of it and fill each month with as many memories as I can. It’s best during the fall, but trying to do it for every month, now. Can start to post the monthly guides if people so please. But trust me. It gives u a purpose to get out of bed on even the toughest of days. Go out and enjoy ur days!!!

I started realizing this during the pandemic when I was trying to make things special “for my kid” but really for myself and was trying to find the exciting stuff about every possible thing, and then I realized that old people have got this on lock with their seasonal sweaters and wreaths and earrings and stuff. My mom had various decorations she brought out for different times of the year and it was always like “oh hell yeah it’s Spring! / Winter! / Valentine’s Day! / Halloween! / Christmas! / late winter but not Christmas!” I think when you’re a young adult you’re like “ha lame I’m not a kindergarten teacher” but as you age it’s like “there is no reason not to look forward to every bit of the year”
