Thanksgiving but also big dinner party recommendations - GO! I am hosting my second Thanksgiving for about ~12 but here's the kicker: I don't do turkey! My guests do not care about it! Give me your favorite big dinner rec for a non-turkey main dish and some sides to pair with it.

if you want your guests to feel like medieval giants but don’t care for turkey, try roasting whole Cornish game hens. They’re tastier, usually cheaper, and don’t take up your whole fridge. YMMV for a large group, but for 5-6 people it feels whimsical!
