Bring some snacks or grab something from the food trucks above, and then throw a blanket on the lawn. The playground is the most stunning in the city, and that’s not even counting the view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Adults: look at the fun wood working of the structure itself. Help your kids to the yerba buena tea.
Kids: draw the taxidermy animal of your choosing, or the bridge or the clouds. Ask the park ranger questions.
