Spagett (Miller High Life + a shot of amaro)

A killer summer drink formula: basically, a High Life + amaro = magic. I first had this elixir at Auntie Mae's Parlor in Manhattan, Kansas (amazing bar) where they were selling High Life + Campari as a "hobo Negroni." Ideally, when you make them at home, you take a sip of beer, pour in a shot of spirit, and that's it. Lemon is fine but not essential (I don't miss it if I don't have it).

It's basically a very cheap, very light beer that many serious beer drinkers would sneer at (but the best very cheap, very light beer, haha).

I recommended this to the young captain on our boat tour in Cinque Terre … he said he would try it only inside his apt 😆 and if it’s good then he will introduce to friends … so look out … it’s going to replace the aperol spritz (in chicago it’s high life and Aperol)

Ok yes … they make this as one of many “handshakes” at a lot of Chicago bars but they make it with Aperol and it’s delicious … important note..I hate beer and I love this … avoid the chicago handshake old style and Malort haha🤮
