Resisted the Salomon juggernaut but needed a lightweight, sturdy shoe for scrambling over salt flats and cinder cones. These did really well. They are surprisingly light, nicely grippy + have a pleasingly beetle-ish iridescence.

If the drawstring laces get in your way, you can tuck them into the pouch at the top of the tongue of the shoe!
