Seeing Trees: Discover the Extraordinary... (Nancy Ross Hugo)

This book made me realize how little I actually observe about my surroundings and it has helped me be more thoughtful and intentional about what I am seeing. Like did you know that the leaves of a few tree species grow opposite each other on the twig while the leaves of most tree species alternate along the stem? That’s something I feel like I wouldn’t have thought to look for and therefore my mind would not have observed.
