santa cruz beach boardwalk... in the warm california sun. boardwalk! (santa cruz, ca)

the boardwalk was a staple during my college years. on mondays it was 60 cent night for rides, sodas and hotdogs. we'd rather up change, pour soco into our dr. pepper and run around under the bright lights, listening to the waves crash, screaming on the rides.

this is a classic beach boardwalk with a wooden roller coaster and a carousel that is 110 years old. it feels like a bygone seaside era to be there. there's no more 60 cent night, but i still enjoy overpaying to go one ride to relive my youth. giant dipper 4eva.
