A bit complex, but we picked it up pretty quickly. Wingspan plays on an individual board, which takes away some of the competitive elements and makes for very enjoyable, relaxed gameplay.
Plus, the artwork is exquisite, and who doesn’t love birds?

“If you’re ready to buckle down for a couple hours of complex (but not extremely competitive) game play, then this is the game for you. It had me at “birdfeeder dice tower” and hasn’t lost me since. My preferred way to play with friends is at a brewery (preferably a spacious one with big tables) with a beer in hand.”
