Washington Island

Taking the ferry across to Washington Island feels like a great chance to unplug, truly. While cell service can be spotty throughout the Peninsula, on the island it was even more so. I loved exploring the beaches and state parks. The oft-talked of lavender fields weren’t my vibe—felt a little icky tourist trappy, so I’d pass on that and stick to the natural splendors. Hiking, beaching, etc.
