There’s nothing small about small talk! Or, perhaps, there’s nothing less meaningful about being small. If you bring your full presence to any interaction (cashier, stranger at a party), it has depth and meaning!!

Love the sentiment! But this coming from Carmen Christopher is fucking hilarious. Highly recommend his shows, movies, and stand-up. Joe Pera Talks with You could REALLY be up your alley. So gentle and kind… in contrast to his character in it.

Completely agree - one of my goals one year was to be friendlier and this meant so many silly interactions with random folks that was small talk and it was lovely.
