I’ll be honest, I only started loving this song because it uses the name Emma in the first line. That’ll always get me. But seriously, I love this song. It’s folksy and whimsical, but more importantly, I love its message (I’ve always been more drawn to the meaning of a song than the actual music). I love songs that feel like poetry about yearning. I think the world needs more yearning.
