YESSSSS!!!!! I enjoyed this lusty book so so much. Jorge Amado is a god.

I actually visited the Jorge Amado museum in Salvador, Bahia in Brazil. It's on the same square (well - triangle) where Michael Jackson famously waved to a bunch of people (?????)
