A book under your pillow on Christmas Eve

My parents used to let us open one present on Christmas Eve, which was fun, but an ex-boyfriend’s parents used to give him and his brother a book under their pillow that night. As someone who loves to read, I would’ve loved to have had a fresh book to tote around to the grandparent’s/uncle’s/etc house to keep me entertained!
