Witch King by Martha Wells

I’m assuming you’ve already read and loved Murderbot (if not, stop scrolling Rec League and immediately get on that what are you thinking). Witch King is a beautiful, COMPLICATED fantasy…Martha Wells does not ever handhold her readers, in the best of ways. Don’t expect Murderbot, do expect great writing, great world-building, and a fantastic COMPLEX main character.

Is there a cliffhanger ending to this one, and is the series complete? I really want to read this but I'm not sure whether to start now or wait for more books to be released!

First two books are out; not EXACTLY a cliffhanger, but each definitely set up more to solve for! Pretty intense story so I kind of appreciated a breather (I felt similarly about a little pause between eg Gideon and Harrow) — but your mileage may vary!

Ok one more comment — I also read Queen Demon, the second book — it was also great but didn’t reach the heights of the first one.
