Pagebound: Social Book Tracker
Thank you @Kara for this incredible rec! A self-funded, woman-owned & anti-AI app & desktop site to track & chat about your reading.
Described as "if Goodreads and Reddit had a baby", this feels like a well overdue & more ethical Goodreads alternative!
You can write your thoughts as you read & read thoughts from others who are up to the same page/chapter as you, so you can feel like you’re chatting about the book without spoilers :)
Plus it's very cute n fun to use!

“Cutest bookie app ever! Developed and founded by two women who are constantly growing and updating new features to be explored. Tracks progress, has fun quests, book giveaways, and forum-style discussions. Leave reviews, log your progress, and stack that TBR!! (+ add me <3 : @sleeepy)”

“downloaded this per @Kara’s rec! i’ve been enjoying the AI free interface quite a bit and i really like that you can recommend a book based on another book! i’ve never had goodreads or anything so this might be a standard feature that idk abt but it’s refreshing to hear from only from actual people. (add me @anywherewithyou) :)”

“Another Goodreads alternative! This book tracking site is whimsically and thoughtfully designed — it’s intended to be both a service to track all things books but also a place to discuss them in dedicated threads! Think Goodreads + Reddit but waaaaaay prettier and more fun to use.”
