Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma
I don't even have the words to describe how hilarious, camp, meta, silly and horny this film is. I usually don't like horror but this was genius. I didn't feel scared, just aroused.

““Fix your hearts of die.” A blood soaked world of desire, fear and delirium—a feature film from Jane Schoenberg, starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. Crushes at Cannes 2026, 💯 on Rotten Tomatoes.”

“This movie was beautiful and confusing in the most enjoyable way. When I got home, I read the Reddit threads, a couple of reviews, and some interviews with Jane Schoenbrun, and now I think I can recommend it. It's campy, it's ridiculous, it's a fun escape from reality, and it's super queer.”

“a sublime meta layer cake that not only serves up a stylish slasher, a love/hate exploration of reboot culture, and a resonant portrayal of the queer gaze and sexual awakenings; it actually integrates it all thoughtfully.”
