This is also very calming for stressed shelter cats too! If you’re doing a meet and greet for an adoption, highly recommend.
One of the nicest things you can do, and it genuinely works! It feels like you’re having a conversation. Sometimes I slow blink at Alien for a while and she’ll run up to me and sit on my lap.
