Amazon is just a terrible company intent on destroying small businesses, and @Rec League is so much about delightful, quality, connective recommendations (read: from small businesses). And yet, when anyone recommends a product and doesn’t specifically chose a different link, it almost universally links to an Amazon link. 10/10 recommend changing that in some way only a tech wizard like the @Rec League folks know. Thanks for considering! Cat for pic - didn’t get her from Amazon either.

Oh I totally agree. The minute I’m led to an Amazon link I totally back away and switch off. Can’t bring myself to even look at it! Ha ha perhaps a trigger warning! 😂
I dont' wantto blow up @Rec League 's spot, but they almost certainly are affliates and get a commission when someone buys from those links.
It isn't much of a stretch after that to imagine that this mechanism is funding the entire site. So I doubt it's going to change any time soon.
