Minnesotans

Think pieces have already lauded Minnesotans for their neighborliness in the face of injustice. My husband hails from this State and apart from a few outliers, I’d say they are some of the finest American populace we have! When I first visited, I was floored by the number of U.S. companies started here (Target, Best Buy, General Mills, 3M). Even my personal fave rec - Noihsaf and Rec League!

It’s their can-do attitude, ingenuity and public education system. They support the arts. The MIA is one of the best museums I’ve ever visited.

My husband’s theory is the winter weather conditions make them depend on their community more than most. They know they need each other to survive on a deeper level. There’s also just a sense of good humor about them.

If you get a chance to partner with or befriend a Minnesotan, I’d say it’s a pretty good bet!
