My parents are coming to visit NYC in mid-November. Looking for fun restaurant leads for a multi-generational dinner reservation. We are starting from the UWS. Any ideas?

Excellent regional Italian and killer wine list. Stones throw from Beacon theatre and short walk to Lincoln Center.

A classic for a reason! Cozy, consistent. I crave their French onion soup as soon as cold weather sets in. Also fun for out of town parents because there’s a fair chance of a celebrity sighting.

This is the place I would go with my mom’s college best friend and his girlfriend (my quasi-uncle and aunt) when I lived in NYC, and I still adore going when I visit. The very best hummus I’ve ever had. Pizzas and salads great, too. Another fun spot to take ’rents is Frenchette, in my experience.

Across the street from Lincoln Center, with a wonderful antipasto bar and the BEST open-face lasagna. Great spot for dinner - don’t forget to grab a piece of their chocolate bark on the way out!

Kinda elevated diner vibe, never had a bad meal here and there something for everyone (because mac and cheese is for everyone)
