Just a writer doing great work—we last enjoyed Say Nothing and the insane New Yorker Larry Gagosian profile. Now he’d focusing on Zach, a nineteen-year old boy who falls from the balcony of a luxury London apartment building. We learn that that Zach told people he was an oligarch’s son and managed to ingratiate himself with wealthy friends, some with criminal affiliations. There’s a certain amount of mystery here, but the book is about the convergence of money, crime and the dark side of modern London. You already know somebody who’s read this book and you should too (good audiobook narrated by the author).
