Mac Cosmetics Eyeshadow in #Humblebrag

This color lives right in the unclaimed area between lilac and lavender, which is what I find so compelling about it. It may look like a basic lavender eyeshadow, but if you’re a makeup nerd like me, you’ll find that this is a very unique color in cosmetics. I’ve seen different makeup bloggers describe it in different ways. They either think the base is cool and the glitter flecks are warm or vice versa. Personally, I am of the camp that the base leans slightly on the cool side, while the glitter flecks are blue and magenta, but the magenta is pretty concentrated and balances out the cool in the base.

Like all of my favorite purple eyeshadows, this works great as a one and done eyeshadow, but also as the inner eyelid color in an otherwise smokier look. I wore this one probably twice a week when I worked at MAC.
